Skip The Metadata Tab – TM1
It is good practice to routinely check the size of your TM1 cubes to see if they can be optimized by re-ordering the dimensions behind the scenes. This will not affect any reports or TI processes and it will improve performance.
Follow the steps below to re-order dimensions.
Right click on a cube and select Re-order Dimensions.
This will bring up the window below, select the System radial and click Test. If you see a negative % change at the bottom of the new order box click OK. If you see a positive % change click Cancel.
